Pip is the star of Southeastern Guide Dogs' short film

A big group of Venetians recently turned out to “Dine in the Dark” with Southeastern Guide Dogs at the Venice Yacht Club. (Guests are blindfolded for part of the dinner, which sparks immediate empathy and understanding for those with vision loss.) The organization, based right here in Southwest Florida, provides guide dogs for those with vision loss and veterans all over the country. A few of those noble dogs were among the guests, and a special one, “Pip,” was highlighted in an animated film. There is a real-life Pip at the Southeastern Guide Dog campus, but the film tells the story of a puppy who dreams of becoming a guide dog. It is too cute (and too inspiring) to miss. Watch the four-minute film below.
