If you are a passionate shopper, you’ll be able to shop ‘til you drop on Thursday, Dec. 4, when Venice MainStreet holds its annual Christmas Walk in downtown Venice. The shops will be decorated for the holidays and offering lots of sales. The sidewalks will be filled with music and good cheer. You might even find a Christmas goody or two along the way.
The Christmas Walk is a great way to get that unique gift for the special folks on your Christmas list. While you’re strolling the avenues, be sure to go past Venice City Hall, 401 W. Avenue, to see the lovely lighted Christmas critters surrounding two sides of the building. These critters were created by George Haako and donated to the city by his widow.
